2021 Navratri Ghatasthapana in India:

For Navratri festival, Ghatasthapana is the most important ritual, which marks the beginning of the navratri. Navratri Ghatasthapana is observed during both navratris either it is Chaitra Navratri or Sharad Navratri. Ghatasthapana ritual is observed with pure heart & mind, in which devotees invoke the Goddess Aadi Shakti. Ghatasthapana must be done at the right muhurat, doing it at the wrong time will make the Goddess angry and will be harmful. The most auspicious time for Ghatasthapana is on Pratipada day (most sacred time during all day) or during the Abhijit muhurat.
