Id-ul-Fitr

 "Id-ul-Fitr" ke baare mein hai. Id-ul-Fitr, ya phir Eid al-Fitr, ek Islamic festival hai jo har saal Ramadan ke mahine ke baad manaya jaata hai. Ye festival, musalmano ke liye bahut hi mahatvapoorn hota hai.

Id-ul-Fitr, Ramadan ke mahine ke roze (fasting) ke khatam hone aur Eid namaz ke saath shuru kiya jaata hai. Is din, musalman apne dost aur parivar ke saath khushi ka mahaul banate hai, saath hi sath ek dusre ko badhai dete hai. Is din, logon ko khush rakhne ke liye sadqa (charity) bhi diya jaata hai.

Id-ul-Fitr, saal ke baki ke dinon mein kaafi alag hai, jahan log khushi ka mahaul banate hai, rang-birangi kapde pehente hai, mithai khate hai, aur ek dusre ko badhai dete hai. Ye festival, muslim community ke liye ek aham din hai, jise saari duniya mein dhoom-dhaam se manaya jaata hai.

 Dhanu Sankranti 2022, Kharmas: 16 दिसंबर 2022, शुक्रवार को सूर्य धनु राशि में प्रवेश होगा. इसे धनु संक्रांति कहा जाता है. हिंदू धर्म में संक्रांति का विशेष महत्व है, हर माह सूर्य जिस राशि में प्रवेश करते हैं उस राशि के नाम पर संक्रांति मनाई जाती है. संक्रांति के दिन पवित्र नदी में स्नान, जप, तप, पूजा-पाठ करने के विधान है. वैसे तो हर संक्रांति का अपना महत्व होता है, सूर्य के राशि परविर्तन से राशियां भी प्रभावित होती हैं लेकिन सूर्य देव जब धनु राशि में विराजमान होते हैं तो इसे बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है. आइए जानते हैं साल के आखिरी महीने दिसंबर में धनु संक्रांति का मुहूर्त और महत्व.

Lakshmi Puja on Dhanteras or Dhantrayodashi should be done during Pradosh Kaal which starts after sunset and approximately lasts for 2 hours and 24 minutes.

Dhanteras Puja is also known as Dhantrayodashi. The day of Dhanteras is also observed as Dhanwantari Triodasi or Dhanvantri Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the God of Ayurveda. Yamadeep is another ritual on the same Trayodashi Tithi when the lamp for the God of death is lit outside home to ward off any untimely death of any family members.

First navratra marks the beginning of Chaitra Navratri. Chaitra Navratri (nine nights) is particularly celebrated to worship goddess Durga and her nine forms through the nine days. It is to seek her blessings for protection from evil and seek happiness.

Day 1 of Chaitra Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Shailputri. Goddess Shailputri is the daughter of Himalaya born in the house of the king of mountains. The pictorial depiction of Maa Shailputri shows her having two hands, holding the Trishul or the trident in the right hand, a pink lotus in the left, and a crescent adorns her forehead. She is seen riding on Nandi bull, she is the wife of Lord Shiva and has two kids, Ganesha and Kartikeya.

The colour red is associated with the Goddess and it is considered auspicious to wear the red attire as it symbolises passion, auspiciousness as well as anger.

Navratri Festival is celebrated twice in a year with great devotion and fervor in all over India. First time it is celebrated as Chaitra Navratri or Vasant Navratri in the month of March-April and second time as Sharad Navratri in the months of September-October. During Chaitra Navratri ninth day is celebrated as Ram Navami while after Sharad Navratri tenth day is celebrated as Dussehra or Vijayadashami, the victory of good over evil. One of the Navratri lies in the Hindu month of Magh, which is also known by the name “Magha Gupta navratri”.
